Help with gba/ds nightmare before christmas game?

im trying to work my way throught the nightmare before christmas gba game and im not getting on very well. im stuck trying to guide zero the dog through the chimney! its a primary level so lots have people must have got through it. is it just a case of steering or is there a cheat i can use?
