You should just try and make the attempt to talk to him, tell him "look, I want to settle this once and for all and move on" if he doesn't want to talk then just let him go. It's his loss and most of the time boys don't want to communicate. So if he doesn't want to talk then just say "ok, your loss" and let it go and pretend it doesn't bother you. He was in the wrong and he is just mad that he got his ego hurt instead of being sorry for hurting you in the first place. Trust me, you're better off without him and someday he'll realize he looked like the idiot and he is only hurting himself by being mad.
