Should I Buy A PS3 Or A PSP?

Hi, Im looking to buy a brand new console this month. I have both systems before and enjoyed them both but sold them. I like playing football games and games like burnout. I don't really play games 24/7 but at weekends, do enjoy them. I was looking at the new psp red 3000 and thought it looked cool but then will it last long.
