Anyone know how to get Slime or Goo out of carpet once it's dried?

If I knew what chemicals were in it, I could suggest a better approach than the following, but... steam clean it. If you don't have a steam cleaner, boil some water on the stove and put a bit of carpet cleaner in the area where it is, and pour the boiling water on. Make sure to scrub really really hard and make sure the carpet is absolutely dry.
