Blind trust of Government?

Your not the only one that realizes our government has way too much power. It kills me how people just accept things like Income taxes, Car tags, the school system, etc... as things that the government just does. In fact income taxes is steeling of the citizens money before we even get it. Car tags is a way that states share ownership of our vehicle while we pay them rent for their half of unused vehicle and the school systems report lower and lower grade averages every year since the government took over the school system. Our government is way too powerful and is failing us and yet people want to put more and more trust into the government. If we continue on this trend, the Republic as we know it will cease to exist in the next few decades.
