Is the line "where I am from" a cliche in most country songs?

It seems like almost every country song has the line: "where I am from" , or "where I come from" or some variation of that. I was like at the dentist office the other day and unfortunatley they were playing country music. One was playing that I come from where the courthouse clock doesn't work. I am like Oook.
